THE BENIALÍ MILL
The Benialí mill:
Thanks to the research undertaken by Fernando Sendra and Josep Ivars, we know that this mill already existed during the 16th century.
THE UPPER MILL
The upper mill:
It was located near Benirrama, just to the left of the Gallinera River, from which it received water by way of a weir located in a meander of the river, slightly below La Venta de Baix and the Safareig spring, which is the washing place of Benirrama.
THE MIDDLE MILL
The middle mill:
It was located on the right bank of the river, in one of its bends, and received water from the Upper Mill, located about 800 metres upriver, by means of a dam and a canal leading to a pond which was built so as to be perfectly adapted to the orographic conditions of the terrain.
THE LOWER MILL
The lower mill:
It is located downstream from the previous mills, approximately 1,100 metres from the Middle Mill, on the left bank of the river, but already within the administrative limits of L’Atzúbia.
